Outreach/outreach

Outreach home — the daily loop

Three cards — Reach out, Follow up, New replies — plus your progress, the automation cycle, and Gmail connections. The loop runs itself; you review and send.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Connect Gmail first

In the Gmail accounts card, pick a label and click Connect. Sending uses OAuth on your own Gmail — no app passwords. At least one connected account is what makes "Send" work everywhere else.

  2. 2

    Read the three cards

"Reach out" counts cold emails drafted and waiting; "Follow up" counts follow-ups due; "New replies" counts replies to read. Each card's button — "Start reviewing", "Start follow-ups", "Read replies" — drops you into the work queue.

  3. 3

    Run a session

The Today strip shows "You sent N emails today" against a daily goal of 10. Click "Start a session" to work the queue one task at a time.

  4. 4

    Run the cycle

"Run cycle now" polls Gmail for replies, sweeps bounces, classifies replies, and queues follow-ups — one click covers all four. It also runs automatically in the background.

  5. 5

    Add prospects

"+ Add prospects" opens discovery: search local businesses, dedupe against what you have, import. The chips also link to Sequences, Contacts, and Pipeline.

Tips

  • No drafts yet? The empty cards tell you why: "No drafts ready. Add prospects to generate some."
  • A first-time "How this works" panel appears when you have prospects but nothing due — four steps, worth the read.
  • The floating "Ask Claude" pill is your CRM copilot; it reads your CRM and drafts follow-ups but never sends email.

What you'll actually see

  • Replies surface on their own: "We poll Gmail every few minutes."
  • The copilot's own footer is the rule: "Reads your CRM, adds notes/tasks, drafts follow-ups. Never sends email — drafts wait for your approval."
  • All three cards currently open the same work queue — the queue itself decides task order.

This is Outreach home — the daily loop for filling your pipeline. Setup is one move: connect a Gmail account down here. It's OAuth on your own Gmail, no app passwords, and it's what makes every Send button real. Now the three cards that run my morning. "Reach out" — seven cold emails drafted and waiting. "Follow up" — three due today; the cadence tracks itself. "New replies" — two to read; Joe polls my Gmail every few minutes. The Today strip keeps me honest: four sent, daily goal ten. One more button worth knowing: "Run cycle now" — poll replies, sweep bounces, classify, queue follow-ups; one click, all four. And when the well runs dry, "+ Add prospects" finds new local businesses and imports them deduped. I click "Start a session", and it's one task at a time from here — the loop runs itself; I just review and send.
