Sequences — multi-step outreach on autopilot
Define a cold email plus follow-ups once; the engine drafts each step for your approval, sends inside your window, and pauses the moment a prospect replies.
Step by step
- 1
Create the sequence
Click "New sequence". Name it, pick the brand, set a daily send cap and a send window. Steps default to a cold email plus two follow-ups (wait 4 and 7 days) — add or remove with "Add step", and give any step an optional angle in plain words.
- 2
Enroll a cohort
On the sequence page, "Enroll prospects": filter by venue type or batch, set how many, click "Enroll matching prospects". No filter means every sendable prospect; already-enrolled, excluded, and archived ones are skipped.
- 3
Approve the drafts
The engine drafts each step and the drafts land in your review queue on the Work page. As the form says: "Approval-first: every drafted email waits in your queue until you approve it."
- 4
Watch the funnel
The sequence page shows Enrolled → Sent → Replied with conversion rates, and the cohort table tracks each prospect's step and status. "Run engine now" forces a tick instead of waiting for the next cycle.
- 5
Pause, resume, stop
Per-prospect controls sit in the cohort table; "Pause sequence" and "Archive" act on the whole thing. A reply pauses that prospect instantly, automatically.
Tips
- ✓Angles steer without scripting — e.g. "short nudge, reference the leaderboard feature" on a follow-up.
- ✓Editing a live sequence changes the cadence for in-flight prospects at their next step — edit deliberately.
- ✓Start with a small cohort (the default is 50), read the replies, then enroll wider.
What you'll actually see
- Nothing on this page sends email. Drafting is the engine's job, sending only happens to approved drafts, inside the send window, under the daily cap.
- "A reply pauses that prospect instantly" — the cohort table shows them as replied, and no further steps go out.
- Step one "sends as soon as its draft is approved"; later steps wait their configured days after the previous send.

This is Sequences — cold outreach that runs itself without ever sending a word you haven't approved. Building one: "New sequence". Name, brand, a daily cap, and a send window — mine's nine to five. The steps: a cold email, then follow-ups at four and seven days. I don't write them — I steer them. This angle field takes plain words: "lead with the peak-hour staffing bottleneck." The engine does the writing, one draft per prospect, personalized. Next, the cohort: "Enroll prospects", filter to racing venues, fifty of them, "Enroll matching prospects". Now the part that makes this safe: approval-first. Every draft the engine writes waits in my review queue — the same one-at-a-time screen — until I approve it. Approved emails send themselves inside my window, under my cap. And the escape hatch is automatic: the moment a prospect replies, their sequence pauses instantly. No follow-up lands on someone mid-conversation. The funnel up top tells me the rest: enrolled, sent, replied. Define once, approve daily, let it run.
