Getting started/onboarding
The 10-minute brand setup
Three steps — Your business, Your voice, Review — that build the fact file every post, email, and page is grounded in.
Step by step
- 1
Step 1 — Your business
Two answers are required: "Business name" and "What do you sell?". Write the second in your own words — products, services, prices if you want. Optional: your website, the city or area you serve, and your Google review link (in Google Business Profile: Share profile → Ask for reviews).
- 2
Step 2 — Your voice
Four optional questions: how customers describe you, what you never want to sound like, one thing competitors get wrong, and a recent win or story. Every answer makes your posts sound more like you — skip any you like.
- 3
Step 3 — Review
Read the summary. As the page says: "This becomes your brand's fact file. Every post Joe drafts is grounded in it — nothing outside it gets claimed." Skipped answers show as "skipped".

Create the brand
Click "Create my brand". Joe saves your brand and writes the fact file, then drops you on the Social workspace scoped to your new brand — drafting can start the same day.
Tips
- ✓Concrete beats clever: "$12 lunch special, weekdays 11–2" gives Joe more to post about than "great food".
- ✓Adding your Google review link here unlocks review-request emails on the Reputation page later.
- ✓The "recent win or story" answer becomes usable proof in posts — real stories beat slogans.
What you'll actually see
- "Continue" won't pass step 1 until name and "what you sell" are filled — the page says "Name and what you sell are the two required answers."
- Finishing is instant — the wizard writes your fact file directly; there's no AI call to wait on.
- You can run the wizard again later to add another brand ("Add a brand" in the Social workspace footer).
▸Video scripta 60–120s narration you can record as-is
This is Joe's brand setup — ten minutes, three steps, and it's the most important ten minutes in the product. Step one, "Your business": I give it my business name and answer "What do you sell?" in my own words. I'll paste my website too, and my Google review link — that one unlocks review-request emails later. Step two, "Your voice": four optional questions. How customers describe me, what I never want to sound like, what competitors get wrong, and a recent win. I'll answer two and skip two — that's allowed. Step three, "Review": here's the line that matters — this becomes my brand's fact file, and nothing outside it ever gets claimed. No invented discounts, no fake customers, ever. I click "Create my brand"... and I'm back on my Social workspace, scoped to the new brand. From here, every draft Joe writes is grounded in what I just typed.
