Social/social/newsletter
The customer newsletter
Build your own audience, draft a grounded monthly letter, approve every word. Sends carry an honest unsubscribe link, in daily batches.
Step by step
- 1
Build the audience
Add customers one at a time (name optional, email required, "Add"), or click "Paste a list" and drop in one customer per line as name, email — straight from your point-of-sale or booking export. Duplicates are skipped and counted.
- 2
Draft the issue
Click "Draft this month's newsletter". The draft is grounded in your product facts and what you actually published recently — it never invents events or offers.
- 3
Review and edit
Click "Show preview" to read the whole letter. The subject line is editable right on the card while it's a draft.
- 4
Approve — start sending
Click "Approve — start sending". The cron sends it to everyone subscribed, in daily batches of up to 50, with an unsubscribe link on every email. "Discard draft" kills a version you don't want.
Tips
- ✓This list is who the newsletter goes to — nobody else. Import your regulars, not a bought list.
- ✓Draft early, approve later — the issue card keeps its "Draft — needs your approval" badge until you decide.
- ✓Watch the sent counter on the card: "N sent of M subscribed" while a send is in progress.
What you'll actually see
- Unsubscribed contacts stay visible but struck through — they're excluded from every send, permanently.
- Status badges tell the truth end to end: "Draft — needs your approval" → "Approved — sending starts on the next cron tick" → "Sending" → "Sent".
- Nothing sends without your approval, and every email carries an honest unsubscribe link — both are hard rules, not settings.

This is the Newsletter page — your own customers, a grounded monthly letter, and nothing sends without your say-so. Two halves. Top: the audience. I can add one regular at a time, or click "Paste a list" and drop in a whole export from my point-of-sale — one line per customer, duplicates skipped automatically. Notice this struck-through contact: they unsubscribed, so they're excluded from every send, permanently. That's not a setting, it's a rule. Bottom half: the letter. I click "Draft this month's newsletter", and the draft that comes back is grounded in my real business facts and what I actually published this month — it can't invent an event or a discount. "Show preview", read the whole thing, tighten the subject line right here on the card. Then the button that matters: "Approve — start sending". The cron takes it from there, up to fifty a day, unsubscribe link on every single email. A newsletter your customers actually recognize as you — that's the point.
