Settings, your account and the truth about your connections
Who you're signed in as, sign-out, and per-user status cards for every provider and piece of infrastructure your account actually uses.
Step by step
- 1
Check your identity
The top card shows the Google account running your workspace, "Signed in as you@example.com". The Profile card below has your name, photo, and the "Sign out" button.
- 2
Read the provider registry
One card per provider, AI, Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, each with an honest status pill: live, discovery only, not connected, or manual, plus what it can do and a connect button where a real OAuth flow exists.
- 3
Scan the infrastructure cards
Server-derived, per-user truth for Google, Gmail, the database, LinkedIn, X, Meta, AI, and more, each with a connected / action-needed / pending chip and a link to fix what needs fixing.
- 4
Sign out when done
"Sign out" ends the session and returns you to the welcome page. Signing back in with the same Google account restores everything.
Tips
- ✓If something misbehaves anywhere in the app, check here first, the status cards usually name the exact missing link.
- ✓Connections themselves are made on the Connections page and the Outreach Gmail card; Settings is where you verify them.
- ✓An "action" chip always comes with the next step, follow its link rather than guessing.
What you'll actually see
- Statuses are computed per-user on the server, the cards show your account's truth, not a marketing checklist.
- Signed out, the page offers exactly one thing: "Sign in with Google to manage your account."
- Customer settings are deliberately small, identity, integrations truth, sign out. There are no buried toggles that change what publishes.
▸Video scripta 60-120s narration you can record as-is
This is Settings, deliberately the most boring page in Joe, and that's a feature. Top card: who I am. Signed in as my Google account, the one account that runs posts, outreach, and the CRM. Profile card below: name, photo, and "Sign out" when I need it. The real value is the rest: the truth cards. The provider registry lists every platform with an honest pill, live, manual, not connected, no wishful thinking. And below, infrastructure status, computed server-side for my account specifically: Gmail connected, database healthy, LinkedIn token fine, Meta pending. When a chip says "action", it comes with a link to the fix, no guessing, no support ticket. That's the habit worth having: anything acting odd anywhere in the app, glance here first; the answer is usually a gray chip with your name on it. Identity, truth, sign out. That's settings.
